Documentary maker Willy Lindwer finished his 20th film about the Holocaust. It’s about a group of Duch Jews who managed to escape to Hungary by train in 1943. Most of them survived.
Now Lindwer is working on a book about his family, focusing on two of his grandparents Wolf and Rivka. Wolf was the father of his mother, and Rivka was the mothproof his father. Both perished in the Holocaust.
In October 2019 the National Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam will open an exhibition about his grandparents.
